What’s Happening at CVBC 

  • The Women’s study starts tomorrow night, running from 6-7:30pm. “How Does God Change Us?” is a 5-week study using the book by Dane Ortlund. Sign up in the lobby. Contact the office with questions.

  • Ladies’ Game Night is this Saturday, February 3. Join us at 4pm with an appetizer or snack to share. Bring a game if you have a favorite!

  • Straight Shooters Youth Archery Ministry will be starting this Saturday, February 3, and will be held 10am to noon through March 16 (no class on February 10). All youth 10 years old and up are welcome. Free to participants, no prior archery experience is  required, and all equipment is provided. Sign up at the Straight Shooters table in the lobby or contact the church office (office@cvbc.net).

  • Join us for the new Adult Sunday school series, PARENTING, starting February 4 for four weeks at 9am.

  • The next Men’s Event will be on Monday, February 5 at 6pm. Join us for teaching and a meal.

  • Youth Group is going TUBING Saturday, February 10, at Bruce Mound in Merrillan, WI. Meet at CVBC at 4pm., return at 9pm. Medical forms and parent permission cards are next to Alan’s office (main entrance). Cost is $15. Signed cards & money are due by Wednesday, February 7.

  • Our next Quarterly Family Meeting with lunch is on Sunday, February 11 at noon. All are welcome! Sign up in the lobby so we can plan for food.

CVBC Email Communication Groups 

Our three primary email groups are:

1. CVBC-ALL

This is our official communication channel to the church body.

This is a moderated group; members of the group are not able to send emails to the group. Questions can be directed to office@cvbc.net.

2. CVBC-PRAYER

To distribute prayer requests to the church body.

This is an unmoderated list; anyone who is a member of the group may send e-mails to the group.  

3. CVBC-CHAT

To post email requests for help, items for sale, etc.

This is an unmoderated list; anyone who is a member of the group may send e-mails to the group.

To sign up for any of these groups, you can:

1) Go to cvbc.net, scroll to the bottom of our home page and click on EMAIL SIGN UPS, or

2) Text CVBC to 84576, then follow the prompts. 

CVBC Giving 

We give to church out of worship to God and to equip CVBC for ministry.

1. You can give to CVBC via check or cash using the donation box at the Welcome Table in the lobby. Use the memo line or an envelope to designate funds.

2. Scan here for online giving  (a QR code follows)  

3. Text to give: 

· General Giving helps support all of our budgetary needs.

Text the dollar amount to 84321 (ex: $25). No key word needed; this is CVBC’s default donation account.

· Fellowship Fund helps CVBC and community families in need.

Text the amount with key word ‘fellowship’ to 84321  (ex: $25 fellowship).

· To give to multiple accounts text the dollar amount and key word for each account to 84321 (ex: $25 general $25 fellowship).
