What’s Happening at CVBC

  • Today we recognize our newest members of CVBC.

  • Due to Chippewa Falls School District's Spring Break, we will not have our Tuesday Morning Moms Bible study or Wednesday evening BLAST & Youth Group programs this coming week. (ALSO, no Sunday School TODAY, March 10)

  • Easter Services: Good Friday (March 29) at 6pm | Easter (March 31) at 9 & 10:30am | Nursery is provided at these three services for infants up to 4 years.

  • The next Men's Event will be on Monday, April 1 at 6pm. All men are welcome to join us at CVBC for an evening of food and bean bag toss (cornhole) games.

  • Ladies, you are invited to our 2024 Spring Brunch on Saturday, April 6, from 10am-12pm. This year's speaker is McKenzie Jensen, presenting "What God has taught me through vocational ministry." We'll also enjoy great food and fellowship. Invite your friends! Sign up in the foyer. All ladies post-high school and older are welcome to join us.

  • The Men’s Retreat will be Friday-Saturday, April 26-27. It is a great time to grow your faith and friendships through worship, Bible teaching, meals, games and rest. All men from CVBC are welcome. You can register in the lobby.

  • A mission trip to Torreon/La Loma Mexico, with a team of 10-12 people,  is being planned for October 19-26. The main focus will be construction. If you are interested in learning more, contact Troy.

Notes on sharing the Gospel

Consider small groups: Youtube; The Chosen, Jesus heals the paralytic

Small Group Questions:

1. What is something that stood out to you from the passage or sermon?

2. What character in the event do you most connect with?

3. How can we “lean into” God during troubled times?

4. What offers you peace (favorite scripture, song, conversation, prayer walk)?

Back of Bulletin: Children’s Ministry

If you are the parent of a child (or children) up through grade 5, we have many ways to get them involved in programs with their peers, taught by adults that desire to teach, love, and nurture children.

* Nursery: 9:00am (and starting March 31 at 10:30am, too) | Year-Round

We offer nursery for newborns up to 4 year-olds so that parents can give their full attention to the worship service.

* Sunday School: 9:00am | School Year (4K-5th grade)

We offer Sunday school for elementary school-aged children during the 9:00am hour.
 Contact children@cvbc.net for more information.

* BLAST: 5:45-7:30pm Wednesdays | School Year (4K-5th grade)

Our BLAST program (Bible Learning And Studying Together) is a fun-filled evening for kids including games, music, and opportunities to build friendships. But at the center is a transforming message from God’s Word and a better understanding of the Word through Bible memorization. All children 4K through 5th grade are welcome!
Contact blast@cvbc.net for more information about BLAST.

All teachers and nursery workers are elder-approved and screened with a background check.

* Family Room: Sunday mornings 10:30am
 Families with young children can enjoy worship via live stream.The room has activities & toys so kids can have a little more space/freedom while parents watch the service.

* Kids’ Table in the lobby: Sunday mornings | Year-Round

We have a table out in the lobby with crayons and clipboards holding assorted coloring & activity sheets for your kids to bring into the service with them.
