What’s Happening at CVBC · 

  • Tonight (May 5) at 6pm is our monthly prayer gathering. All are welcome.

  • Next Sunday (May 12) is the last day of Kid's Sunday school until the fall. Adult Sunday school ends on May 19.

  • We will be worshipping together at just ONE SERVICE on Sunday mornings starting May 26. Join us at 9am weekly through Sept. 1. Outdoor services will be held once per month (6/16, 7/21, 8/18) at 10am. Watch for 'fridge reminder' postcards to be available soon.

  • We continue our 9am Adult Sunday School series on reading the Bible: Dealing with the Difficult Passages. Next week (May 12) we'll look into  whether the Bible condones slavery, genocide, and misogyny. Join us at 9am in Room 50. All adults are welcome.

  • Sign up HERE for the Quarterly Family Meeting with Meal, May 19 after 2nd service. All are welcome to stay for the meeting & eat together.

Women's Ministry

The purpose of the CVBC Women’s Ministry is to bring glory to God by providing opportunities for women to grow in their personal relationships with God, to equip them to serve Him with their spiritual gifts, and to encourage fellowship.  We do this by offering:

·Bible Studies: Various Times/Days | Year-Round   

 * Mondays | 9:00am

 * Tuesdays | 9:30am (Tuesday Morning Moms) September-May

 * Other seasonal studies | varied times/dates

·Mentoring: Annually    We want to know and learn from other women in our walk with the Lord, and one way to do this is through mentoring. If you are interested in  having a mentor or training to become one, email the Women’s Ministry team at the email address below.

·Fall Retreat: October 4-6, 2024. The women’s retreat offers a get-away to worship, learn, study, discuss, pray, make friends and nurture friendships.

·Fellowship Events: The Women’s Ministry Team hosts fun social events throughout the year. The Fall Campfire is a sweet time of fellowship and S’mores around the fire. The Christmas Brunch and Spring Lunch have delicious food and  a special speaker. We have had a few Game Nights over the past year, and those are really fun. All of these events offer great opportunities for you to invite and  introduce your friends, family and neighbors to CVBC.

·Newsletter: Our Women’s Ministry April Newsletter is available. We publish a monthly newsletter to help the women of CVBC get to know one another, and to give us a glimpse into the upcoming events and studies. These are available in the office, via email, or snail mail. To be added to the existing mailing list, go to cvbc.net/womens-newsletter.
