Small Group Questions:

Back of Bulletin: Children’s Ministry Volunteers
And Jesus took a child and put him in the midst of them, and taking him in his arms, he said to them, “Whoever receives one such child in my name receives me, and whoever receives me, receives not me but him who sent me.” (Mark 9:36-37)
NURSERY Volunteer Opportunities:
Sunday morning childcare: Interact with infants and toddlers through playing, reading, or directing play between children, all while exhibiting Christ-like patience and love. Our goal is for volunteers to serve once or twice every 13 weeks but not more than once per month. Substitutes needed, too.
Sunday morning Check-In: Ensure proper and efficient check-in and check-out procedures for all children entering the nursery. Volunteers will serve approximately once per month.
Coordinator: Responsible for overseeing the nursery ministry which includes creating a schedule, volunteer training, ordering and upkeep of supplies and equipment. Approximately 1-2 hours per week.
Cleaning: Responsible for cleaning and disinfecting all nursery toys & furniture. Volunteers serve approximately once every other month.
SUNDAY SCHOOL Volunteer Opportunities:
Teachers/Substitutes: Present the lesson on Sunday morning to Preschool – 5th graders in a fun and energetic way but with solid, Biblical teaching. Approximately 0-2 hours per week of prep time.
If you’d like to help as a volunteer with our Children’s Ministry at CVBC, please contact Julie Endvick or the church office: 715-723-2872
