We live, we die, we tell our story

Genesis 35-36

Main Point: We as Christians can live, grow old, and die _______. So, let’s do it.

5 Priorities to Faithfully Grow Old:

1. Worship

2. Holiness

3. Spiritual Memory

4. Suffering Well

5. Future-Oriented

Small Group Questions:

1. What is something that stood out to you from the passage or sermon?

2. How does this passage encourage you to be faithful as you age?

3. As you look back at the life of Jacob, what truths stand out to you? How can you trace the faithfulness of God throughout his life?

· Monthly events: Monday nights 1x per month | Year-Round
The purpose of monthly events is to give guys an opportunity to build deeper relationships in a natural way, creating Biblical friendships for encouragement, prayer, accountability, and discipleship beyond Sunday mornings.

NEXT UP: Charcoal Chicken, Monday, Sept. 11, 6pm at the Dells Pavilion, Mt. Simon Park in Eau Claire.
Contact Micah at micahb@cvbc.net for more information.

· TRIADS: As Christians we have been commanded to love, encourage, admonish, weep with, and confess sins to, one another. At times, this can only be done within the confines of safe and trusted friendships. Triads exist as a means for a group of three  men to meet and communicate regularly for the purpose of building these Christ-centered friendships.

· Retreat: Annually (Spring)  CVBC Men are given the opportunity to spend 2 days together at a local camp for the purpose of encouraging one another’s faith through teachings, small groups, and prayer.
