The Significance of the Resurrection
1 Corinthians 15:12-34
Main point: Without the resurrection of Jesus, everything is ____. But because Jesus did resurrect from the dead, there is a ____ and that point is ____ now and forever.
1. The ____ of an Unresurrected Life (vv. 12-19, 29-34)
2. The ____ of a Resurrected Life (vv. 20-28)
Small Group Questions:
1. What stood out to you from the passage or sermon?
2. How does the resurrection of Jesus “make or break” Christianity? (What would we not have if there was no resurrection?)
3. How does the resurrection of Jesus impact our daily life now?

CHIldren’s Ministry
If you are the parent of a child (or children) up through grade 5, we have many ways to get them involved in programs with their peers, taught by adults that desire to teach, love, and nurture children.
Nursery: 9:00am | Year-Round (birth up to 4K) We offer nursery for newborns up through kids going in 4K so that parents can give their full attention to the worship service.
Sunday School: 9:00am | School Year (4K-5th grade) We offer Sunday school for elementary school-aged children during the 9:00am hour. Contact children@cvbc.net for more information.
BLAST: 5:45-7:30pm Wednesdays | School Year (4K-5th grade) Our BLAST program (Bible Learning And Studying Together) is a fun-filled evening for kids including games, music, and opportunities to build friendships. But at the center is a transforming message from God’s Word and a better understanding of the Word through Bible memorization. All children 4K through 5th grade are welcome! Contact blast@cvbc.net for more information about BLAST.
All teachers and nursery workers are elder-approved and screened with a background check.
Family Room: Sunday mornings 10:30am Families with young children can enjoy worship via live stream. The room has activities & toys so kids can have a little more space/freedom while parents watch the service.
Kids’ Table in the lobby: Sunday mornings | Year-Round We have a table out in the lobby with crayons and clipboards holding assorted coloring & activity sheets for your kids to bring into the ser-vice with them.
