Back of Bulletin:

Communion

Communion services are a remembrance of the life, death, resurrection and coming of Jesus Christ. CVBC celebrates communion on the first Sunday of the month and on Good Friday. Communion is open to any believer saved by grace.

Volunteers are needed to help prepare the elements monthly.

To prepare for communion we need:

* 2 people to assist in filling the juice trays, to set the                              elements in the sanctuary before each service, and to clean up following the second service.

* 1 person to make two batches of communion bread (recipe supplied)

Heidi Richard is the coordinator. She makes the yearly schedule for set-up and bread.  And she will send out an email reminder to the communion volunteers the week before their specified Sunday, with the bread recipe and instructions for communion set-up as an attachment.

Volunteers are on a rotation so you may only serve a few times per year, or more often if you so choose. You can request certain months.

If this is an area in which you feel led to serve, please contact the church office and leave a message for Heidi. Phone: 715-723-2872 or Email: office@cvbc,net
