What’s Happening at CVBC
Prayer gathering is tonight at 6pm. No meal this time. All are welcome.
This Thursday, May 5, is National Day of Prayer. Owen Park in Eau Claire will be the site of a prayer gathering at 6pm.
We are planning a bulletin insert featuring all of our CVBC graduates (from both high school and college/university). Please send graduates' and schools' names to Libby (office@cvbc.net) or leave a note in the office. Thank you!
The Men’s Retreat is Friday-Saturday, May 6-7. Held at Arrowhead Bible Camp, this 2-day retreat will include 3 meals, 3 teachings about friendship, worship music, small groups, and free-time activities. Cost will be $40 per person (can be paid online using the Designations tab in Online Giving at cvbc.net). Sign up in the lobby or online.
This coming weekend is the Thrift Sale! See back of bulletin for details.
We need you! The Summer Kick-Off is coming on Saturday, May 14, from 11:00am—1:00pm. We’ll have inflatable bouncy houses, free food, carnival-type games, & fun! You can sign up in the lobby or online to attend, and also to volunteer. All in the church family are welcome to be involved. Don’t forget to enter the drawings for prizes!

General Guidelines:
You can bring donations to church during office hours through Wednesday (Mon. 11-4, T & W. 9-4). To donate large items please contact Alan for pick up or alternative drop-off times (aland@cvbc.net or 715-864-4406).
We appreciate your donations! We are also grateful for your discernment as to whether your donated item(s) will sell.
Receipts can be given for tax purposes (ask in the office).
If you’d like to make a monetary donation, please designate on your check or envelope “Student Missions.”
Volunteers needed (Sign up in the lobby):
To help set up Sunday, May 1 through Thursday, May 5 (you get early bird shopping privileges!).
Two or three people willing to run the boutique that are knowledgeable about trendy clothing and are comfortable with pricing and running a boutique.
To help with sales Friday & Saturday (morning /afternoon shifts available) and to clean up on Saturday.
To help with the brat stand on sale days.
