What’s Happening at CVBC

  • FAMILY MEETING January 29 after 2nd service. Lunch is included. Sign up in the lobby by today so we can plan for the meal.

  • We will have a Membership Class at noon Sunday, Feb. 19, for all who are interested. Lunch will be included. Sign up in the lobby.

  • Our next Men’s Event is Monday, Feb. 6 at 6pm. Join the men of CVBC for this quarterly Teaching & Testimony night. All men are welcome.

  • Ladies: We have a 4-week winter study beginning Monday, February 6 from 6:00-7:15pm using the book “Suffering Is Never For Nothing” by Elisabeth Elliot. It’s a short but powerful look at our suffering as Christians. We encourage all ladies to join us, and if you need a book they are available online or we can help you get one. Sign up in the lobby.

  • Adult Sunday School is finishing up studying the Prayers of the Bible. Join us next Sunday in room 50 at 9:00am as we look at the prayers of Hannah, which will complete the series. Join us for a new series on Marriage starting February 5.

  • Straight Shooters Youth Archery Ministry starts February 11 and will run for 5 weeks. All youth ages 10+ are welcome to join us Saturdays from 10 to noon at CVBC. No cost, no experience necessary, and equipment is provided. Sign up in the lobby or online.

  • If you miss a sermon, you can now find it as a podcast! Search for Chippewa Valley Bible Church-sermon on your podcast app.

  • We have several different Bible Reading Plans available in the lobby.

Mentoring: Ongoing

We want to know and learn from other women in our walk with the Lord, and one way to do this is through mentoring! Contact Denise if you are interested in having a mentor or training to become one: dakuechenmeister@gmail.com.

Mark your calendar for our annual Fall Retreat: October 6-8, 2023. The women’s retreat offers a get-away to worship, learn, study, discuss, and pray. Make friends or nurture existing friendships.

Women’s Events: The Women’s Ministry Team hosts fun social events throughout the year. The Christmas Event and Spring Brunch have delicious catered food and often a special speaker. Look for details and a sign up as the next one gets closer.
