Women’s Ministry
The purpose of the CVBC Women’s Ministry is to bring glory to God by providing opportunities for women to grow in their personal relationships with God, to equip them to serve Him with their spiritual gifts, and to encourage fellowship. We do this by offering:
· Bible Studies: Various Times/Days | Year-Round Our Women’s Ministry Team provides many studies for women!
* Mondays | 9:00am
* Tuesdays | 9:30am (Tuesday Morning Moms) Last day: May 9
* Other seasonal studies | varied times/dates
· Mentoring: Ongoing We want to know and learn from other women in our walk with the Lord, and one way to do this is through mentoring, You may be interested in having a mentor or training to become one.
· Fall Retreat: October 6-8, 2023. The women’s retreat offers a get-away to worship, learn, study, discuss, and pray. Make friends or nurture existing friendships.
· Fellowship Events: The Women’s Ministry Team hosts fun social events throughout the year. The Fall Campfire is a sweet time of fellowship, hot dogs and S’mores around the fire. The Ladies’ Christmas Celebration and Spring Lunch have delicious food and a special speaker. Our recent Spring Lunch (Saturday, April 22) was well attended and enjoyed by all. We have had a few Ladies’ Game Nights over the past few months, and those are really fun. Look for details & a sign-up as the next event gets closer. All these events offer great opportunities for you to invite and introduce your friends, family and neighbors to CVBC.
· Newsletter: Our Women’s Ministry April Newsletter is available. We publish a monthly newsletter to give CVBC’s women a glimpse into the upcoming events and studies. These are available in the office or via email. Just ask! To receive the newsletter by email or USPS: cvbc.net/womens-newsletter.
To contact a Women’s Ministry leader, email women@cvbc.net, which goes to the team (Abbey Blake, Sue LeMay, Chris Kriehn, Denise Kuechenmeister, Lindsay Solava, and Shari Strasburg).
