What’s Happening at CVBC
Today begins Small Groups week.
This Tuesday is Ruby’s Pantry (May 16). Food distribution is between 2:00 and 5:30pm (approx.) and volunteers are needed from noon to 6:00pm. All are welcome to participate, as a food recipient, volunteer, or both. First-time volunteers, please use the following link: https://www.rubyspantry.org/become-volunteer.
Adult Sunday School is getting a one-week extension! Please plan to join us on May 21 when we'll welcome special guests from a few of our community's most crucial resource centers: Hope Gospel Mission and Hope Village. If you haven't been able to join during the teaching series, plan to come out at 9:00am in Room 50 to hear how these two organizations walk alongside the needy in our community in ways that build dignity and worth.
From May 28 through Sept. 3 we will have one Sunday worship service. Join us at 9:00am during the summer, except for the 3 outdoor services (10:00am) on June 18, July 16, August 20.
MEN: The next men’s event will be on Monday, June 5 at 5:30pm. Join the men of CVBC for a Burger BLAST and Games Night.

Small Groups
If you call CVBC your church home and you want community, you are encouraged to join a small group!
· Various times, days, and locations | Year-Round
· Small groups exist as a means of building deeper relationships with fellow believers — by providing a smaller community within the church — where Christians can be encouraged to be more like Christ.
· Small groups often discuss the most recent sermon, or other books of Scripture, and focus on applying it to their lives .
· Small groups prioritize prayer and shouldering one another’s burdens in life.
· Some groups meet weekly; some meet every other week.
