The Throne

Revelation 4:1-1

Main Point: There is no one like God and no one above God and that is exactly why the _____ of everything that exists is to ____ Him.

1. The _____ of God: There is no one Like Him

2. The _____ of God: There is no one above Him

Small Group Questions:

1.  What is something that stood out to you from the passage or sermon?

2.  Why is God worthy of praise for being Holy? Why is God worthy of praise for being sovereign?

3.  What does worship look like in our daily life? How does this passage make our Sunday morning worship more vibrant?

4.  How does this passage give us strength, encouragement, or comfort in our suffering world?

BACK OF BULLETIN: CHilden’s Ministry

If you are the parent of a child (or children) up through grade 5, we have many ways to get them involved in programs with their peers, taught by adults that desire to teach, love, and nurture children.

· Nursery: Sunday services | Year-Round (birth up to 4K) We offer nursery for newborns up through kids going in 4K so that parents can give their full attention to the worship service.

· Sunday School: 9:00am | School Year (4K-5th grade) We offer Sunday school for elementary school-aged children during the 9:00am hour.
Contact children@cvbc.net for more information.

· BLAST: 5:45-7:30pm Wednesdays | School Year (4K-5th grade)   Our BLAST program (Bible Learning And Studying Together) is a fun-filled evening for kids including games, music, and opportunities to build friendships. But at the center is a transforming message from God’s Word and a better understanding of the Word through Bible memorization. All children 4K through 5th grade are welcome!
Contact blast@cvbc.net for more information.

All teachers and nursery workers are elder-approved and screened with a background check.

· Family Room: Sunday mornings  | Year-Round (10:30 only Sep-May)
Families with young children can enjoy worship via live stream. The room has activities & toys so kids can have a little more space/freedom while parents watch the service.

· Kids’ Table in the lobby: Sunday mornings | Year-Round   We have a table just for kids out in the lobby! It has crayons and lots of clipboards holding assorted coloring & activity sheets. Children can take these into the service with them.

For more details about this ministry and others, visit our website at cvbc.net.
