What’s Happening at CVBC
Today is our Breakfast Fundraiser on Sunday. Our Youth Group is serving up a delicious French Toast and Sausage breakfast from 8:30-11:00am. Everyone is invited! All proceeds will help out with the costs of our youth group attending the DISTRICTS Youth Conference in Green Bay, WI, January 7-9, 2022.
This is small groups week.
Pictorial Directory photo sessions are coming January 19-22. To sign up, see the table in the lobby today, or sign up online Monday-Friday. The online system shuts off automatically for the weekend so we can have in-person signups on Sunday mornings.
The women’s mentor program, FLOURISH, will begin mid-January. Please sign up to be a mentor or request a mentor by December 15. Information and forms are in the lobby and can also be emailed upon request. If you receive CVBC-ALL emails, you have the forms already!
Christmas Eve Services are 3:30 and 5:00pm Friday, December 24. We’ll have nursery at both services for children through 3 years old. An additional seating area and the Family Room will also be available. Invitation postcards for Christmas Eve are in the lobby.
There will be no BLAST or Youth Group on Wednesdays, December 22 & 29. There will be no Sunday School December 26 & January 2.
We will have only one worship service Sunday, December 26 at 9:00am.
An Unexpected Birth

Main Point: The ________________ of Jesus Christ proclaims the good news that God came to be one of us to ______ us.
Why is the Virgin Birth necessary for our salvation?
Small Group Questions:
1. What is something that stood out to you from the passage or sermon?
2. Why was it necessary for Jesus to be fully God to save us? Why was it necessary for Jesus to be fully man to save us?
3. How does the birth and coming of Jesus affect your daily Christian life?

CVBC OFFICE - Information & Communication
One priority of the CVBC office is to maintain the church database so we are able to communicate to the church body effectively.
Have you given the office your contact information? Is it all up to date? If you’ve never done so, or need to make some changes, please fill out the Welcome/Prayer card and drop it in the white box on your way out of the sanctuary.
Another service we offer is a quarterly address directory and phone list. We only publish family information when given the authorization to do so. Are you included on the phone list or in the CVBC Directory? If you would like to be, please use the Welcome card to let the office know. We look forward to hearing from you, and adding your name to our records.
Other than Sunday morning announcements, the main way we send out information and updates to the CVBC congregation is through email. To sign up for any of these email lists, please call or email the church office (715-723-2872 or info@cvbc.net), or fill out the sign-up form on our website by visiting cvbc.net. Scroll down to the EMAIL SIGNUPS button.
If you have any questions, contact Chris or Libby: office@cvbc.net or 715-723-2872.
