What’s Happening at CVBC

  • Today there is a meeting for all who are interested in the summer  mission trip to Guatemala. Join us from noon to 1pm in Room 50.

  • Tonight is our prayer gathering (1st Sunday each month). Prayer is at 6pm, with a meal before at 5:15 for those who can make it.

  • Leading with Power is this Thursday at 11:45am (Eagles Club, Lake Hallie). All men welcome. Register: leadingwithpower.org/lake-hallie/.

  • The Men’s Event, Friday Night Fight, is this Friday, March 11 from 6:30-8pm.The focus is Fighting Together for Purity. Free pizza! Special Guest Speaker Joe Smith. Sign up online or in the lobby.  Take an invitation card for a friend! Ages 15+

  • MEN, save the date for the Men’s Retreat: Friday-Saturday, May 6-7.

  • CVBC is now taking donations for the annual Thrift Sale! Bring your items to church during the week or on Sunday mornings. Thrift sale dates: May 6-7. Watch for details regarding volunteering for the Thrift Sale. Those who help with set up get Early-Bird shopping privileges!

  •  Tuesday Morning Moms is looking for extra childcare help! If you are interested paid position (9:15-11:00am weekly) contact the office.

Aiding Problem Pregnancies with Love and Encouragement

Since 1981, APPLE Pregnancy Care Center has been serving families in the Chippewa Valley. Apple is a support ministry to restore, equip and empower women and men to make  life-affirming choices. Apple offers free pregnancy testing, education through our “Earn While You Learn” Program, post-abortion counseling, and programs to middle and high school students about “Love, Sex, and Healthy Relationships.”

NEEDS:

1. Volunteers! There are many volunteer opportunities. Initial training is required to work with clients directly and is held during the spring and fall. Call for information, or a tour.

2. Donations of maternity and baby clothing, bassinets, car   seats (less than 5 yrs. old only), new cribs (no drop sides),  crib mattresses, strollers, and many other baby items. We also take children’s books, and books pertaining to pregnancy and parenting, and toys. Diapers, especially in sizes 4-5-6, and wipes are a continuous need .

PRAYER REQUESTS:

1. Pray for the women and men who call and use the Center.

2. Pray for the Board, Staff and Volunteers.
