What’s Happening at CVBC

  • Say WHAT?! Family Comedy Night is this Saturday, April 2, 7-8:30.          It will include improvisation, laughs, and dessert! Sign up in the lobby or online so we have numbers for dessert preparation.

  • Sunday evening (April 3) will be our next prayer gathering at 6pm. If you’re able to get here early, there will be a meal at 5:15.

  • A Men’s Event is coming Monday, April 4. All guys are invited to an evening of fellowship, food, & bean bag games. 6-8:30pm. No signups!

  • The Middle School Retreat (EQUIP) is April 8-9 in Rice Lake. Look for brochures and parent permission cards near Alan’s office. Due Ap. 3.

  • Easter week service times: April 14: Maundy Thursday—6pm, April15: Good Friday—6pm, April17: Easter Sunday—9 &10:30am. Nursery will be offered at Good Friday and both Easter morning services for ages birth to 4 yrs.

  • Ladies, sign up for our Spring Brunch coming up on Saturday, April 23 from 10 am to noon. We will enjoy a delicious lunch prepared by Josh Reiter, and be led in a craft by Sierra Klein as she presents “To Make Much of Him.” All women (high school & up) are welcome. Sign up in the lobby or online.

  • MEN, sign up for the Men’s Retreat: Friday-Saturday, May 6-7. Held  at Arrowhead Bible Camp, this 2-day retreat will include 3 meals, 3 teachings on Friendship, worship music, small groups, and free-time activities. Cost will be $40 per person. Sign up in the lobby or online.

  • CVBC is now taking donations for the annual Thrift Sale! Bring your items to church during the week or on Sunday mornings. Thrift Sale dates: May 6-7. Watch for details regarding volunteering for the Thrift Sale. Those that help with setup get Early-Bird shopping privileges!
