What’s Happening at CVBC 

· Tonight is our Monthly Prayer gathering at 6pm. All are welcome.

· All Seniors (55+) are invited to sign up for our Harvest Dinner that will take place on Thursday, November 21 at 11:30am. Sign up in the lobby or online.

· Our next Men’s Event is a teaching night on Monday, November 4 at 6pm at CVBC. All men are welcome; supper is included.

· Adult Sunday School returns next week, November 3, with a three-week series: Delighting in the Trinity. Join us in room 50 at 9:00am as we learn why this ancient Christian teaching is foundational, instructive, practical, and, well, delightful! We will explore what the Bible has to say about this topic, and will also learn about some of the important historical figures who have helped defend and preserve this great mystery of our faith.

· The Giving Tree begins today! Look for the Christmas tree in the lobby, take a tag and sign out the # on the sheet, then purchase the gift(s) and return them unwrapped by Weds., Nov. 27.

· Ladies Bible Studies:
Monday at 9:00am, Monday at 6:30pm, Tuesday at 9:30am, Tuesday Morning Moms at 9:30am (childcare provided).

· Men’s Bible Studies:
Monday at 6:30pm, Tuesday at 7:00am, Tuesday at 6:30pm, 1st/3rd Saturday at 7:30am.

BACK OF BULLETIN: Women’s Ministry

The purpose of the CVBC Women’s Ministry is to bring glory to God by providing opportunities for women to grow in their personal relationships with God, to equip them to serve Him with their spiritual gifts, and to encourage fellowship.  We do this by offering:

· New and current Bible Studies for Women at CVBC:
Monday | 9:30am | Matthew | no homework | open study
Monday | 6:30pm | James | no homework | open study
Tuesday | 9:30am | James | through Nov. 19. Uses the John MacArthur book
Tuesday Morning Moms | 9:30am | no homework | open study | meets weekly, childcare available | register children in the app.

· Mentoring: Annually
The Mentoring year at CVBC runs from March through February. Watch for more information this winter.

· Fall Retreat: The women’s retreat offers a get-away to worship, learn, study, discuss, pray, make friends and nurture friendships. Save the date of October 3-5, 2025, in your calendars, Ladies!

· Fellowship Events: The Women’s Ministry Team hosts fun social events throughout the year. These events offer great opportunities for you to invite and introduce your friends, family and neighbors to CVBC.
Watch for more details about our upcoming Ladies’ Christmas Celebration, Saturday, December 14, from 10am—12:00pm.

· Newsletter: The Women’s Ministry October edition is available. We publish a monthly newsletter to help the women of CVBC get to know one another, and to give us a glimpse into the upcoming events and studies. These are found in the office, via email, or snail mail. To be added to the existing mailing list, go to cvbc.net/womens-newsletter.
