What’s Happening at CVBC

  • Gentle and Lowly, an Adult Sunday School class, will begin Sept. 19 at 9:00am. See back of bulletin for details.

  • Youth Group begins this Wednesday, Sept. 1, at 7pm. YG is for all students in grades 6-12. Parents, please fill out medical release forms found here or in the wall display in the main entrance. One for each student.

  • Our next Blood Drive is this Friday, Sept. 3, from noon-6pm.

  • We continue to worship at 9:00am only through next Sunday, Sept. 5. Outdoor service Sept.12,10:00; we go back to 9 & 10:30am Sept. 19.

  • Our Annual Meeting will follow the meal on Sept. 12 (outdoor service).

  • Sunday School and BLAST registration is now open! Sunday School kickoff is Sept. 19, and BLAST begins Wednesday, Sept. 22. Register here, or hard copies are available in the foyer.

  • BLAST & Nursery are still in need of volunteers. Sign up in the foyer.

  • Tuesday Morning Moms starts Sept. 14 at 9:30. See back of bulletin.

  • Centershot Youth Archery Ministry is open to students age 10+ and will run Saturdays, September 18-October 23,10am-noon at CVBC. Sign up here or in the foyer for the class and/or to volunteer. For more information, contact Dennis at 715-313-4311 or lennywolf@gmail.com.

  • Our next Membership Class will be offered Sunday, Sept. 26, right after 2nd service. Lunch will be provided. Sign up here.

Back of Bulletin: Bible Studies

For Women:

  • Tuesday Morning Moms is a group that meets every Tuesday during the school year. We follow the Chippewa Falls School District calendar. We will begin Sept.14 at 9:30am and will be studying the book “Risen Motherhood” by L. Wifler & E. Jensen. Sign up here or in the foyer. Led by Lindsay Solava. All moms are welcome and childcare is available.

  • The book of Acts will be the focus of a Tuesday night study led by Emily Dunham this fall. 7-9pm from October 5—November 9. Bring a Bible, notebook, and pen. All ladies are welcome.

For Men:

  • Tuesday morning Bible Study meets at 7am weekly and is on-going. Led by Troy Solava. All men are welcome.

  • A new Tuesday evening Bible Study will meet every other week starting Sept. 21 at 6:15pm. Led by Micah Burch. All men are welcome.

  • Tuesday evening Bible Study meets weekly at 6:30pm and is ongoing. Led by Dennis Wolf. All men are welcome.

  • Saturday morning Men’s Breakfast meets from 7:30-8:45am the 1st & 3rd Saturdays every month. All men are welcome.

For Everyone:

  • Adult Sunday school class begins September 19 at 9:00am. We’ll study the book by Dane Ortlund titled “Gentle and Lowly.” All are welcome. Books and bookmarks with schedule are available in the foyer. Take them even if you won’t be in the class.
