Back of Bulletin: Women’s Ministry Team
Colossians 1:28-29
He is the one we (WMT) proclaim, admonishing and teaching everyone (women) with all wisdom, so that we (WMT/CVBC) may present everyone (women) fully mature in Christ. To this end I (WMT) strenuously
contend with all the energy Christ so powerfully works in me (us).
Bible/Book Studies
The Women's Ministry Team (WMT) works with the approval of the Elder Board to find materials that will draw women into a deeper walk with the Lord and provide opportunities for fellowship, to pray together, and to encourage one another in the Word. The WMT desires to offer a variety of studies throughout the year, both in the morning and evening. Classes are promoted in the church bulletin and via email.
Tuesday Morning Moms (TMM): Begins Sept. 14. See bulletin announcement.
Fellowship Events
This ministry brings women together to enjoy sharing a meal, making new friends, and hearing a message to challenge and encourage us in our walk with Jesus. We focus on two big events each year: our Springm Brunch and Christmas Event. If you have a desire to assist with an event, please let us know! We’d love to have you join us.
Newsletter: Our newsletter highlights the upcoming events you need to know about and features a different woman from CVBC in each edition. To receive the newsletter, go to the Women’s Ministry page at cvbc.net or call the office.
Retreat
Our annual fall ladies’ retreat is a wonderful opportunity to deepen your relationship with both God and your fellow sisters in Christ. The retreat weekend (Friday evening through Sunday noon) offers up times
of worship, prayer, learning, encouragement, and growth in a fun, relaxed and accepting environment. The retreat is open to ladies age 18+ and takes place in a handicap-accessible facility.
The 2021 Ladies’ Retreat is October 8-10. Get your brochure in the foyer and register by September 22.
