What’s Happening at CVBC
Today begins Small Groups week.
The Adult Sunday School class continues the series called One Another - Building Christian Community. Join us at 9:00am in room 50 as Mark Wathke and Mike Blake lead a discussion on how we can love and build up the body of Christ together. December 18: Building Up and Letting Go - Encouraging, Sharpening, and Forgetting.
DISTRICTS Youth Conference still has a few spots left. Brochures are in the lobby; for Grades 7-12. Contact Alan as soon as possible.

Women’s Mentoring: We are gearing up for our 2023 program and are excited for new and continuing pairings. We mentor because there is unmistakable evidence in Scripture to the call to mentor the next generation. Be a mentor OR a mentee! Applications (due January 8) are in the lobby or can be found, along with more information on mentoring for women, on the women’s ministry page of our website: cvbc.net.
·A Guatemala mission/work trip is being planned for March 18-25, 2023. For High School students and adults. There are brochures with more information and registration forms in the lobby.

· Mentoring: Ongoing (see inside today’s bulletin for more details) We want to know and learn from other women in our walk with the Lord, and one way to do this is through mentoring! Contact Denise if you are interested in having a mentor or training to become one: dakuechenmeister@gmail.com.
· Mark your calendar for our annual Fall Retreat: October 6-8, 2023. The women’s retreat offers a get-away to worship, learn, study, discuss, and pray. Make friends or nurture existing friendships.
· Women’s Events: The Women’s Ministry Team hosts fun social events throughout the year. The Christmas Event and Spring Brunch have delicious catered food and often a special speaker. Look for details and a sign up as the next one gets closer.
· Newsletter: December’s edition will be available this week! The Women’s Ministry Newsletter is published each month to give CVBC’s women a glimpse into the upcoming events and studies. These are available in the office or via email. Just ask!
