Ministry Highlight: MISSIONS & OUTREACH

If you are a Christian, then missions/outreach is your calling! Jesus has called us to go and make disciples of all nations and has entrusted this to churches like ours. At CVBC, we seek to proclaim the message of Jesus to those near and far.

Missions:

· We currently support 19 missionaries globally. These missionaries serve from Minneapolis to the Middle East. Our missions committee stays informed of all the updates and needs of our missionaries. You can receive these updates and information  in 2 ways:
* Read the personal letters at the Missions wall in the lobby.
* Join the missions e-mail group by texting CVBC to 84576 and choose the cvbc-missions group from the list.

· Pray: Pray for the lost in your life and all of the requests from our missionaries! The Lord loves to hear the prayers for salvation for those near and far.

· Give: By giving regularly to CVBC, you are giving directly to these 19 missionaries and their ministries around the world!

Outreach ministries:

· Freedom Recovery Ministry: Meets 3x per week at CVBC Tues—1pm, Thur—7pm, Sat—8am | Life Recovery 12-Step Bible

· Ruby’s Pantry Food Distribution (3rd Tuesday of each month)  2-5pm food distribution to the community, volunteers welcome noon to 6pm. $25 donation gets you 2 big boxes of food.
