Ministry Highlight: Student Ministry

If you are a student in middle or high school and you want to go deeper in your faith and your friendships, consider joining one or all of the following student ministry opportunities:

· Sunday School: 9:00am | School Year

· Youth Group: Wednesdays 7-9pm | Year-Round

A typical Wednesday night includes time to connect with peers, worship music, Bible lesson, prayer and discussion on how to apply Scripture in our lives.  Youth Group is for grades 6-12.

· Youth Group Retreats:

We have three different weekend retreats planned for the year going to Minneapolis (missions focused), Green Bay (Districts Youth Conference) and Rice Lake (discipleship focus).  We love going away for a weekend to build friendships, make memories and learn about following Jesus from other people.

· Mission Trips: Annually

Every year our youth group is sent out to serve, teach, and share the Good News of Jesus to those who need it. We often alternate between international and domestic trips. Coming up: Minneapolis (July 2023) and Guatemala (July 2024).

Contact Alan at aland@cvbc.net for more youth group information.

Other ministries for teens:

· Boy Scouts—Troop 72 is for all boys ages 11+ and meets most Monday nights year-round.
