What’s Happening at CVBC
· Tonight is our monthly prayer gathering at 6pm. Meal at 5:15 for those that arrive early.
· Adult Sunday School begins a new three-week series entitled Prophet, Priest, and King next Sunday, March 12. If you've ever gotten lost in the Old Testament or had a hard time understanding how the stories and books in the OT connect to each other, join us in room 50 at 9:00am as Dave Daniels walks us through these three "offices" in the Bible. See how God uses them to point His people to himself and all of us to Christ, from Genesis right through Revelation. See you then!
· Our next Men’s event is Monday, March 6 at 6pm at Bowl Winkle’s in Eau Claire. Join the men of CVBC for an evening of bowling & pizza. All men are welcome. No sign up necessary.
· There will be a Senior Social Event for all those ages 55+ on Thursday, March 9. All seniors are invited to this gathering from 11:30am to 1:00pm — a potluck with great food, singing, and a fun game or two! (Prizes, too!) Sign up in the lobby soon.
· We are now taking donations for the Annual CVBC Thrift Sale! Bring your items in anytime during office hours or on Sunday mornings. Please call first for larger items so we can meet your vehicle near the storage garage. Thank you for your donations of gently used or new items for our Thrift Sale. This year’s sale will be held on May 5 & 6. All proceeds will go toward CVBC mission trips.
· MEN: Register now for the 2023 Men’s Retreat held at Kamp Kenwood April 28-29. All men are invited! Sign up in the lobby or online.
· We continue the Help for the Homeless Hygiene Drive. Look for the box in the lobby. Bring items in by March 5. Most needed supplies are soaps (bath, dish, laundry), personal care, toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, and diapers/wipes. Thank you for helping!
