What’s Happening at CVBC
No programs this week: Tuesday Morning Moms, BLAST, Youth Group
Adult Sunday School has begun a new three-week series called Prophet, Priest, and King. If you've ever gotten lost in the Old Testament or had a hard time understanding how the stories and books in the OT connect to each other, join us in room 50 at 9:00am as Dave Daniels walks us through these three "offices" in the Bible. See how God uses them to point His people to himself and all of us to Christ, from Genesis right through Revelation. Join us March 26 and April 2!
This Tuesday is Ruby’s Pantry at CVBC. Food distribution will run from approximately 2:30-5:30pm. Volunteers are needed noon to 6pm. First-time volunteers visit: https://www.rubyspantry.org/become-volunteer.
Men’s Event: Monday, April 3 at 5:30pm. Join other men of CVBC for Bean Bag Toss, fellowship, and a good meal. No signup necessary.
We are now taking donations for the Annual CVBC Thrift Sale! Bring your items in anytime during office hours or on Sunday mornings. Please call first for larger items so we can meet your vehicle near the storage garage. Thank you for your donations of gently used or new items for our Thrift Sale. This year’s sale will be held on May 5 & 6. All proceeds will go toward CVBC mission trips.
Nursery update: We are looking for new volunteers to serve in the nursery! If you're interested in being a part of this ministry, contact Allie (allisonburch4@gmail.com) or Bekah (rebekahlynn58@gmail.com).
CVBC is hosting a Red Cross Blood Drive Friday, March 31, 9am-3pm. To donate blood, visit redcrossblood.org.
MEN: Register now for our 2023 Men’s Retreat held at Kamp Kenwood April 28-29. All men are invited! Sign up in the lobby or online.

SMALL GROUPS
If you call CVBC your church home and you want community, you are encouraged to join a small group!
Various times, days, and locations | Year-Round
Small groups exist as a means of building deeper relationships with fellow believers — by providing a smaller community within the church — where Christians can be encouraged to be more like Christ.
Small groups often discuss the most recent sermon together and focus on applying it to their lives.
Small groups prioritize prayer and shouldering one another’s burdens in life.
Some groups meet weekly; some meet every other week.
