What’s Happening at CVBC
Today we have a meal at noon with the Family Meeting to follow. All are invited and encouraged to attend!
Ruby’s Pantry is Tuesday, May 21. · Ruby's Pantry is a food distribution program held at CVBC the 3rd Tuesday of each month, and is for anyone looking to extend the monthly grocery budget. Each guest donates $25 for a ‘share’ and receives an abundance of grocery items. Join us as a guest, as a volunteer, or both! Starting this month we are offering Express Track, allowing guests to pre-purchase a share and choose a time for pick up. See the Ruby’s Pantry—Chippewa Falls Facebook page for more details. Extra volunteer help is needed from 2:15 -5:30pm to load cars. First-time volunteers, please use the following link: https://www.rubyspantry.org/become-volunteer.
Want to dig deeper into the Psalms? Bookmarks listing recommended books are available on the top shelf of the display outside the Library.
We will be worshipping together at ONE SERVICE on Sunday mornings starting NEXT WEEK, May 26. Join us at 9am weekly through Sept. 1, with outdoor services to be held once per month (6/16, 7/21, 8/18) at 10am. ‘Fridge reminder’ postcards are available in the lobby or office.
The next CVBC Men’s Event is on Monday, June 3: Brats Night. All men are welcome. Start time is 6pm.

CVBC Missions & Outreach
If you are a Christian, then missions/outreach is your calling! Jesus has called us to go and make disciples of all nations and has entrusted this to churches like ours. At CVBC, we seek to proclaim the message of Jesus to those near and far.
Missions:
· Stay Updated: We currently support 17 missionaries globally. These missionaries serve from Minneapolis to the Middle East. Our CVBC missions committee stays informed of all the updates and needs of our missionaries. You can receive these updates and information in two ways:
* Read the personal letters at the Missions wall in the lobby.
* Join the missions e-mail group by texting CVBC to 84576 and choose the cvbc-missions group from the list.
· Pray: Pray for the lost in your life and all of the requests from our missionaries! The Lord loves to hear the prayers for salvation for those near and far.
· Give: By giving regularly to CVBC, you are giving directly to these 17 missionaries and their ministries around the world!
Outreach ministries:
· Ruby’s Pantry Food Distribution (3rd Tuesday of each month) Food (for a nominal donation) distributed to the community from 2:30-5:30pm; volunteers are welcome and needed from noon-6pm.
· We support and are involved with Good News Global (Chippewa Falls) and APPLE Pregnancy Care Center (Eau Claire).
· We are involved with Hope Village (Tiny Homes, Chippewa Falls) and Hope Gospel Mission (Eau Claire).
