What’s Happening at CVBC
The first Summer Book Club meeting will be Sunday, June 9, 10:30am. Join us for the discussion of two books: What If I Don’t Desire to Pray? by John Onwuchenkwa and Praying the Bible by Donald S. Whitney.
Want to dig deeper into the Psalms? Bookmarks listing recommended books are available on the top shelf of the display outside the Library.
OUTDOOR services are scheduled for the summer! Outdoor worship will be held once per month (6/16, 7/21, 8/18) at 10am. ‘Fridge reminder’ postcards are available in the lobby or office.
The next CVBC Men’s Event is on Monday, June 3: Brats Night. All men are welcome. Start time is 6pm.
Women’s Ministry has planned 3 summer events for ladies! Mark your calendars: June 10 is a gardening event at CVBC, July 8 is Pizza Night at the Grossingers’ home, and August 12 is PICKLEBALL at the Chip. Falls courts! Sign up for the gardening event in the lobby starting today. Watch for more details on the other dates as those events get closer.
Please join us on Saturday and Sunday, July 20 & 21, as we celebrate our church’s 90th Anniversary! On Saturday, July 20, we will have inflatables, games, and activities from 1-4 P.M. On Sunday the 21st we will have a church service outside. We will also have a lunch together. Then we will have a brief service celebrating the history of our church.

· TRIADS: As Christians we have been commanded to love, encourage, admonish, weep with, and confess sins to one another. At times, this can only be done within the confines of safe and trusted friendships. Triads exist as a means for a group of three men to meet and communicate regularly for the purpose of building these Christ-centered friendships.
· Retreat: Annually (Spring) CVBC Men are given the opportunity to spend 2 days together at a local camp for the purpose of encouraging one another’s faith through teachings, small groups, and prayer.
