What’s Happening at CVBC

  • Thrift Sale 2020 is almost here!
    Today(Sunday, July 12) is the beginning of the set up. Volunteers needed all week long. Thrift sale is this Friday & Saturday, July 17 & 18. Contact Steph K: cskrizan@yahoo.com, or 715-559-3928.

  • Extended deadline for  2020 graduate recognition
    We’d like to acknowledge all of the graduates from both high school and college or university in the July 19 bulletin. Please email the name, school, and a photo to Libby at office@cvbc.net by July 13.

  • The NEXT Red Cross Blood Drive will be Friday, August 14, Noon-6pm
    To register, go to http://www.redcrossblood.org and click on the blue box, then find CVBC Blood Drive. To volunteer, contact Mark Hedrington at markh@cvbc.net.

  • Christ-Centered Recovery meets 3x weekly

Dear Support Team,

Greetings in the Lord. We were scheduled to be in the US visiting our support team and family this month and next month, but instead we remain in New Zealand. We rest in the sovereign hand of our awesome Lord. We have decided not to attempt a visit to the US this year, but hope to arrange  a longer furlough in 2021.

Thank you for your prayers and support in our lives and ministry. Here are (some of our) prayer targets for this week:

  • There is an urgent request for conflict resolution and a Christ-honoring outcome for a church in NZ.

  • Pray for Philip who is serving as a pastoral intern with a BMW missionary in Auckland. Philip and his family are partially supported by the church but Philip also needs a suitable part-time job to provide for his family. Philip and his family seem to be working well with the saints there.

  • Bev continues to meet weekly with ‘Desire'.

  • The Saturday morning "Equip Course" is going well. I meet with Francis, Max, Eric, and Mark at my home. It is a privilege and delight to invest in the lives of these faithful men. 

  • Teen camp is next week. Four girls from Bible Centre are registered.

God is at work in lives and we give Him thanks. Have a blessed week in Him,
