What’s Happening at CVBC
The Red Cross Blood Drive is this Friday, August 14, Noon-6pm. To register, go to http://www.redcrossblood.org and click on the blue box, then find CVBC Blood Drive.
Next week (August 16) Troy will be teaching from Job 4:1-31:40. You can read ahead to prepare for the message.
The nursery is open on Sunday mornings (9am only) for children up through 4 years old.
We have our summer Family Room available (Room 60) for anyone with children that need a less restrictive environment during the worship hour. Let those wiggles & giggles out!
We now have Welcome/Prayer cards for your use in the sanctuary and Fellowship Hall. Feel free to fill out a card and drop it in the white box on your way out. You can submit prayer requests to the office at any time by contacting us: office@cvbc.net or 715-723-2872.
FREEDOM Recovery meets 3x weekly: Tues.-1pm, Thurs.-7pm, and Sat.-8am. We use the Life Recovery Bible 12-Step Program. Anyone is welcome to join us.

Women’s Ministry
Colossians 1:28-29 He is the one we proclaim, admonishing and teaching everyone with all wisdom, so that we may present everyone fully mature in Christ. To this end I strenuously contend with all the energy Christ so powerfully works in me.

· Who: All post-high school women of CVBC (and of our community)

· How: We have a 4-prong approach: Bible and women's studies, fellowship events, retreats, and mentoring
Bible/Book Studies
The WMT desires to offer a variety of studies throughout the year, both in the morning & evening. Coordinator: Lindsay Solava
Tuesday Morning Moms (TMM)
Designed for moms that are looking for an opportunity to grow and connect with God and other women, any mom is welcome. Childcare is available. Coordinator: Beth Arneberg
Fellowship
This ministry brings women together to enjoy sharing a meal, making new friends, and hearing a message to challenge and encourage us in our walk with Jesus. Coordinator: Sue LeMay
Retreat
Our annual fall ladies’ retreat is a wonderful opportunity to deepen your relationship with both God and your fellow sisters in Christ. The retreat is open to ladies age 18+. Coordinator: Chris Kriehn
Mentoring
Titus 2:3-5 encourages a mature Christian woman to take what she’s learned in her relationship with Christ, and pour into the life of a younger woman. Coordinator: Denise Kuechenmeister
