What’s Happening at CVBC

  • Youth Group will be meeting Wednesdays December 9 & 16 from 7-9pm.

  • Ladies: Sign up today for a time of Fellowship Around a Campfire on Saturday, December 12, from 4 to 6pm. We will roast weenies together and sip hot cocoa s as we enjoy each other’s company. Be sure to dress warmly as we will stay outside for this whole event. If you’d like to attend please RSVP by email or phone to the church (office@cvbc.net, or 715-723-2872) by Thursday, December 10.

Sermon: The True Gospel
Acts 15:1-35

Main Point: The TRUE GOSPEL of Jesus Christ shall not be added to or subtracted from. It alone is sufficient for SALVATION.

  • The true Gospel SAVES, and the false gospel ENSLAVES you.

  • The true Gospel UNITES people together in a church and the false gospel DIVIDES the church.

    Small Group Questions:
    1. What is something that stood out to you from the passage or sermon?
    2. What is the false gospel in Acts 15? What are some examples of other false gospels? How do they take away from Christ’s work?
    3. How does the True Gospel affect the life of a local church?
