What’s Happening at CVBC

  • Christmas Eve services will be at 2:00, 4:00, and 5:30pm on Thursday, December 24. The 2:00pm service will be masks-required. All services will offer physically-distant seating. Live stream will be available during all three services.

  • Christmas Poinsettias have been purchased for decorating the church. If you’d like to donate $10 in honor or memory of a loved one, please note the designation and the person’s name (optional) which will be typed on a card. The poinsettia plants can be taken home after the
    last of the Christmas Eve services, or on Sunday, Dec. 27.

  • Ruby’s Pantry food distribution takes place this Tuesday. Contact Alan if you’d like to be a volunteer at aland@cvbc.net.

  • Youth Group will be meeting Wednesday, December 16 from 7-9pm.

    1. What is something that stood out to you from the passage or sermon?
    2. How do we see that God uses the lowly and humble to accomplish his will in this text? 3. What about other passages? What do you learn about Jesus in this story? What does this passage promise to those who humble themselves?
